Designing hubs for multimodal travel
As the lead designer for Copenhagenize Design Co., I created icons to illustrate all the potential features that could be included in a bus stop to create a series of multimodal travel hubs: electric scooter charging stations, real-time travel info, bike share docks, and sheltered bicycle parking.Â
We added some fun elements, too, to make the experience of waiting more enjoyable, like a community lending library.
To help the client visualize the design of each bus stop, we created a series of models and a corresponding bus stop typology.
