#BYXE cycling education campaign

As the primary designer for Copenhagenize Design Co., I created eye-catching graphics and copy for a social media-based campaign to educate Saskatonians on cycling safety and promote the bicycle as a normalized, convenient, and accessible mode of transportation.
I curated the bright colours and bold text for a range of different messaging on social media platforms and physical spaces, including buses, bus stops, bike seat covers, and bike bells.
The #BYXE campaign – named for the city's airport code – grew the City of Saskatoon’s bicycle safety website viewership by 225% in less than two months.

Using the common hashtag we created, #BYXE, thousands of Saskatonians have shared photos of their bike rides with friends and family on social media. Now a part of the everyday cycling culture of Saskatoon - #BYXE is the City’s bicycle brand for years to come.
For the social media-based campaign, we created graphics and captions for Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.
